Job summary

Evergy is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to manage budgeting, forecasting and cost reporting for renewable and conventional generation projects. You will partner with Development Project Managers and Construction Supervisors to ensure projects stay on time and on budget.

The role includes tracking budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasts, variances, and risks, with emphasis on effective communication and analysis of project performance across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, or accounting.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and budget across programs and projects.
• Develop, maintain, and report project cost information including budgets, expenditures, forecasts, and variances.
• Track scope, cost, and schedule with development and construction teams.
• Prepare monthly cost and schedule reporting for stakeholders.
• Manage project risks and assist in schedule development and updates.
• Coordinate with Development Engineers and Project Managers on cost estimates.
