Job summary

Walker-Miller Energy Services seeks a Program Manager to oversee Market Development Initiatives within a single utility market. You will lead day-to-day program delivery, staff, and partners, ensuring outcomes and reporting are accurate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 2+ years of Workforce Development, contractor training, Program Management or equivalent.
• 2+ years of direct or indirect leadership experience.
• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, or delivery for 1–2 cohorts.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated financial and project management experience (budgets, resources, deliverables).
• Experience coordinating with external partners or vendors (fewer than five relationships).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, partners, participants, and employees.
• Ability to analyze program, budget, and performance data for decision-making.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage 1-2 programs within the MDI Client portfolio.
• Oversee day-to-day tracking of deliverables and reporting.
• Coordinate with external partners/vendors (<5).
• Manage program budgets and invoicing in coordination with clients and management.
• Develop marketing and engagement plans to educate customers about energy efficiency.
• Represent the program at industry events and workforce development forums.
• Ensure reporting accuracy in Salesforce/Power BI.
