Vermont Gas Systems (VGS) is hiring an Energy Services Program Coordinator in South Burlington, VT. This hybrid role supports weatherization and equipment replacement programs by coordinating information among customers, contractors, and staff.

You will manage inquiries, verify eligibility, and maintain project data across systems. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in customer service or program coordination, a degree in a related field, and strong CRM/data skills.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, communications, energy, marketing, or related field.
• Three or more years of experience in customer service, program coordination, operations support, or related field.
• Experience in energy, utility, building-services, or financial-services sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central intake point for program inquiries via phone, email, forms, or referrals.
• Follow up on new and existing opportunities; escalate complex cases as needed.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams across channels.
• Maintain proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle and gather feedback.
• Monitor project progress and facilitate smooth handoffs between teams.
• Maintain accurate customer and project information across systems and prepare documentation.
• Support CRM and program-tracking usage; assist IT with data needs.
• Coordinate with utilities, lenders, and contractors for project and incentive processing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through documentation and training.
