Job summary

The JPI Group in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Business Analyst to support our energy efficiency incentive programs by collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data. This role also collaborates with IT to manage and test program databases.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of data analysis experience, proficiency with Power BI and Excel, and strong communication skills to translate insights into actionable business decisions. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience compiling and analyzing data and producing data-intensive reports.
• Proven grasp of data analysis tools such as Power BI, Oracle, or commonly used data visualization tools.
• High degree of proficiency with Excel inclusive of pivot tables, data management tools, and advanced formulas and functions.

Responsibilities

• Data Management & Reporting: perform quality control checks, deliver weekly/monthly status reports, and compile energy efficiency program reports.
• Database Monitor: work with IT to ensure database configuration meets program needs and train administrators.
• Project requirements: identify gaps, support product development processes, and perform user acceptance/testing as needed.
