Job summary

Marathon Petroleum is seeking a Pricing Specialist for the West Division of Commercial to drive daily pricing, analysis, and allocation management across multiple geographies. The role partners with Marketing Territory Managers, Schedulers, Traders, and IT to propose and execute value-chain strategies using PowerBI and Excel.

The successful candidate will analyze market trends, develop reports, and support pricing enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Two or more years in analytical/pricing/fuel marketing/sales/supply operations or profitability roles.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily pricing for multiple light product commodities across geographies.
• Collaborate with Marketing Territory Managers, Schedulers, Traders, and IT to optimize the value chain.
• Analyze monthly volume and netback performance by region and channel.
• Identify opportunities and implement pricing process improvements.
• Maintain pricing tools and support ad-hoc analyses for management.
