Job summary

CleanChoice Energy is seeking a Pricing Analyst in Washington, DC to build and refine models that set retail electricity prices across deregulated markets. You will translate energy, capacity, and REC costs into competitive rates and provide visibility into pricing performance.

The role is hands-on and will grow as pricing expands into new products and channels, with collaboration across Sales, Marketing, and Leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline.
• 1-3 years of analytical pricing or finance experience.
• Advanced Excel; working with SQL/Python/VBA.
• Strong analytical and commercial decision-making abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Run, maintain, and improve pricing models for retail rates.
• Develop pricing approaches for new products and channels.
• Track Price to Compare, forward curves, and competitors' offers.
• Monitor margin, conversion, and retention by market and product.
• Automate and document pricing processes using Python, SQL, and AI tools.
• Build reporting and dashboards for Sales, Marketing, Finance, and leadership.
• Partner with Energy Markets on cost inputs and load assumptions.
• Support Sales and Marketing with campaigns and pricing requests.
• QA pricing outputs before they reach customers and systems.
• Present pricing analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
