Job summary

Dewberry in New York leads energy infrastructure projects across transmission, distribution, substations, and EV networks, mentoring teams and delivering high‑impact solutions.

You’ll expand relationships with public and private energy utilities, develop and guide programs, and lead multidisciplinary teams delivering site/civil work for transmission, distribution, and substation projects in the Northeast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 10+ years of site/civil design and project management experience
• Strong understanding of energy utility market and projects

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue and profit margin growth.
• Develop and implement a strategy to increase Dewberry’s brand recognition with northeast energy accounts.
• Meet with prospective and existing clients to develop and capture new business.
• Serve as a client manager for select Energy accounts.
• Coordinate northeast region energy account sales pipeline and report status to leadership.
• Develop responses to RFPs and qualifications, including cost proposals.
• Serve as Project Manager for complex projects.
• Collaborate with other groups and offices.
• Manage project financials and cash flow.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams.
• Assist with training and mentoring staff.
• Engage with project deliverables and quality management.
• Monitor staffing and advise on future needs.
• Work with HR to recruit and retain energy talent.
• Promote Dewberry’s culture and commitment to long-term success.
