Job summary

Dewberry Engineers Incorporated is seeking an Energy Discipline Lead to grow our Energy practice in the Northeast. You will mentor teams, build key client relationships, and lead multidisciplinary efforts delivering site/civil solutions for transmission, distribution, and substations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering and 10+ years of site/civil design and project management experience.
Strong understanding of the energy utility market including transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
Proven success in business development and long-term client relationship management.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate high-performing teams.
Track record of managing complex projects for public and private utility clients.
Proficiency in relevant design software and standard office tools.
PE license in MA, NY or NJ preferred, or ability to obtain licensure in six months.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue and profit margin in the Northeast energy practice.
Build brand recognition among energy accounts in the region.
Meet with clients to develop and capture new business opportunities.
Serve as client manager or deputy for Energy accounts.
Coordinate regional energy account sales pipeline and report to leadership.
Develop responses to RFPs including cost proposals.
Serve as Project Manager for complex, volume-based projects.
Collaborate with multi-discipline teams and manage project financials.
