Enchanted Rock (ERock) is seeking a senior government relations leader in Austin to drive policy and regulatory strategy for Texas and adjacent markets. You will advocate for on-site generation, microgrids, and grid resiliency while coordinating with regulators, utilities, and industry groups.

You will monitor developments, translate complex policy into business insights, and influence executives and investors.

Qualificações

• 10+ years in government relations or regulatory affairs.
• Ability and willingness to travel periodically for regulatory proceedings, stakeholder meetings, conferences, and other business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead ERock’s policy and regulatory strategy across the Central Region, with a primary focus on Texas and additional responsibility for priority markets throughout the region.
• Identify, analyze, and advocate for legislative, regulatory, and wholesale market policies that support onsite generation for commercial, industrial, and data center customers, as well as microgrids, grid resiliency, load flexibility, and Bring Your Own Generation (BYOG) solutions.
• Monitor regulatory and market developments and translate complex policy changes into clear business implications, risks, and opportunities for ERock leadership, commercial teams, and investors.
• Represent ERock in ERCOT stakeholder processes, Public Utility Commission proceedings, utility regulatory matters, legislative advocacy, and other relevant industry forums and conferences.
• Develop policy positions, comments, testimony, presentations, white papers, and other advocacy materials for regulatory agencies, grid operators, legislators, utilities, and industry stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, policymakers, utilities, market participants, trade associations, customers, and other stakeholders to advance ERock’s policy priorities.
• Work cross functionally with commercial, engineering, operations, legal, finance, and executive teams to develop policy solutions that enable new market pathways and opportunities for ERock technology.
• Evaluate new and evolving state markets to identify regulatory barriers and opportunities for ERock’s technologies and business model.
• Coordinate and participate in industry coalitions and trade associations, including development of joint advocacy strategies and stakeholder outreach.
