Expect collaboration with regulatory teams and stakeholders to expand markets for advanced energy technologies.

The role requires travel up to 30% and residency near Austin, TX, with a salary of $120,000. Remote work is offered, and the team emphasizes DEIJ values and broad stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field or comparable experience.
• Interest in energy and transportation policy and advocacy.
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of Texas policy strategies and engagements.
• Work with member companies to develop policy positions and consensus.
• Manage lobbyist/consultant relationships and advocacy activities.
• Organize opportunities for decision-maker engagement and education.
• Create materials for education, advocacy, and outreach, including testimony and presentations.
• Coordinate with communications to seek earned media coverage.
• Travel as needed for advocacy days and stakeholder meetings.
