Job summary

NAES is seeking an O&M Technician for the Fairview Energy Center in Johnstown, PA. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity involving operation and maintenance of combustion turbines, HRSGs, and related systems.

Responsibilities include startup/shutdown, equipment inspections, and ensuring safe, reliable plant performance. The role requires monitoring plant conditions, maintaining logs, and supporting preventive maintenance while adhering to safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial turbines and related plant systems.
• Ability to read and interpret plant procedures and safety rules.
• Strong problem-solving and recordkeeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct startup, shutdown, and routine operating activities for combustion turbines, HRSGs, steam turbines, and associated systems.
• Operate auxiliary systems including air compressors, demineralized water systems, and cooling systems.
• Perform inspections, tests, minor repairs, and routine maintenance to identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, instrumentation and controls, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Maintain accurate operating logs and equipment records; document plant conditions and issues.
