Job summary

Walker-Miller Energy Services is seeking an Outreach Lead to provide guidance at events, deliver energy-efficiency education, and drive cross-promotional activities within the partner’s service territory. You will recruit diverse customers and establish relationships with community organizations to advance energy savings goals.

You will lead a team at events, manage logistics, track metrics, and collaborate with program managers and marketing to maximize impact across multiple communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in customer and community outreach.
• Experience working in grass roots or non-profit organizations.
• Proven ability to perform proactive customer outreach activities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized self-starter who can prioritize workload.
• Ability to identify and resolve event and customer service issues.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong data-entry skills and familiarity with tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop event staff within the core values-driven culture.
• Manage events logistics, registrations and relationships across territories.
• Develop outreach and education plans with program managers to reach key segments.
• Coordinate outreach activities with partners and community organizations.
• Train others and standardize customer education activities.
• Enter data into spreadsheets and databases to measure event metrics.
• Support the energy force ambassador program including curriculum development and training.
• Maintain a professional appearance representing Walker-Miller and the partner.
