SOCOTEC is seeking an Energy Analyst with 0-2 years experience to join our Energy Modeling group. You will support Energy Project Managers on high-profile green projects across local, national, and international sites.

The role offers mentorship and growth within a collaborative team of professionals highly active in LEED and energy performance modeling. Responsibilities include learning SOCOTEC modeling procedures, using DOE-2, eQuest and EnergyPlus, documenting reports, and communicating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil Eng or Physics; architectural familiarity acceptable.
• Knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and HVAC.
• Experience with building energy modeling using DOE-2, eQuest or EnergyPlus preferred.
• Familiarity with construction drawings and design.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.

Responsabilités

• Learn modeling procedures of SOCOTEC.
• Model buildings using DOE-2, eQuest and/or EnergyPlus.
• Train in related modeling areas (HVAC, architectural issues).
• Document and maintain well written reports on project activity.
• Communicate effectively with management teams.
• Provide cross-functional support to meet client needs and timelines.
• Maintain detailed progression of work from start to completion.
• Attend in-house seminars and team meetings.
• Hybrid/remote work option may be available.
