Bright Power is seeking an Energy Markets Analyst to join the Energy Procurement Team in New York City. You will manage large datasets, coordinate with clients, and facilitate energy supply contracts while learning the energy industry and educating others on market dynamics.

The role emphasizes client-facing duties, data management, and cross-team collaboration, with opportunities to contribute to RFP processes and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Finance, Economics, Sustainability, or related field.
• Analyst experience in the energy industry or related field.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Salesforce.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Ability to work well on a fast-paced team.
• Understanding of the energy markets and experience with an RFP process.
• Experience producing and presenting deliverables to clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize large quantities of account information.
• Update and maintain opportunities and contracts through Salesforce and other platforms.
• Coordinate and collaborate with team members.
• Communicate internally with other teams at Bright Power.
• Create and present client deliverables.
• Effectively communicate with clients and channel partners.
• Detail oriented contract reading and editing.
• Monitor contract expirations and progress towards contract renewals.
• Leverage Bright Power’s contacts to generate new business for the Energy Procurement Team.
