Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, statistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, asset management, or energy market operations.
• Advanced Excel proficiency with complex formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and model-building from scratch.
• Working knowledge of P&L, budgeting, and variance analysis; CAISO markets knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver recurring financial and performance reports for leadership and partners.
• Support month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for energy assets.
• Analyze project performance, operating costs, and metrics to drive decisions.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools; pursue automation.
• Review expenses and invoices for budget alignment and accuracy.
• Monitor asset performance and market participation; collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.
