Job summary

Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) is seeking a Market Evaluation Analyst II to perform statistical and economic analyses of wholesale electricity markets, assess market health, and develop insights to inform market design improvements. The role requires strong data analysis skills and experience with tools like R, Python, SAS, VBA, and Power BI.

A bachelor’s degree in Economics or Data Science and 2+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Data Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages (R, EViews, SAS, Python, VBA, Power BI, Azure).
• Experience developing metrics, visualizations, and automated reporting.

Responsibilities
