Stanford Health Care is seeking a dedicated Energy Manager - Sustainability to join our Facilities Services & Planning (FS&P) division, located in Menlo Park, CA. This full-time, hybrid position offers an opportunity to contribute to our mission of healing humanity through science and compassion, focusing on advancing sustainability initiatives within a renowned healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and report on the SHC Energy Management Plan and sustainability goals.
• Oversee energy efficiency projects, rebate applications, and building optimization efforts.
• Coordinate energy data, metrics, and reporting activities.
• Develop and implement energy and water strategies, including audits and conservation measures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to promote energy conservation and sustainability practices.

Qualifications:

• Preferably 10+ years of relevant managerial experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and facilities management.
• Experience in developing energy management plans and overseeing related projects.
• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Educational background in engineering or facilities management; Master's degree preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Knowledge of energy industry regulations, building management systems, and project management.
• Certifications such as CEM, CHFM, or PE are preferred.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional on-site presence.
