Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking an Energy Management Synthesis Engineer (Contract) in Auburn Hills, MI, to lead vehicle testing for fuel economy, range, and drivability analyses. The role coordinates HW/SW updates and performs chassis dyno testing within the vehicle development process.

Experience with AVL Drive, Matlab, and Excel is preferred. A ABET-accredited engineering degree and 3+ years in propulsion development are required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 3+ years of product/propulsion system development and testing.
• Experience with ETAS-INCA or similar data acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Lead vehicle testing activities for FE/Range, drivability and test analysis.
• Coordinate and perform chassis dyno testing for FE/Range on your program.
• Provide access to data for energy and electrical load analyses and report results to PPE customers.
• Conduct in-vehicle capability, performance and drivability tests as needed.
• Align with propulsion calibration team on drivability objectives and program status.
