Job summary

Exelon in Maryland is seeking a Forecast Analyst to assist in forecasting monthly electrical usage to support the five-year long range plan. You will develop, maintain, and document load forecast models used for monthly forecasts by customer class and for Revenue Accounting.

The role involves monthly estimating and reporting, presenting analyses, and responding to ad-hoc requests, with exposure to IPA procurement reporting and cross-functional collaboration with Energy Acquisition and Revenue

Qualifications

BS or BA required; 2–4 years in utility/economics/finance/engineering.
Strong analytical skills and Excel/database proficiency.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and deliver timely results.
Familiarity with electric utility industry.
In lieu of degree, 3–6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Assist in forecasting monthly electrical usage to support the five-year LR plan.
Develop, maintain, and document load forecast models used for monthly forecasts by customer class.
Prepare monthly estimates and reporting for closing the books and forecast performance.
Create presentations and analyses; support IPA procurement reporting.
Handle ad-hoc requests and supporting analyses.
