Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Forecasting Analyst to assist in developing and maintaining load forecast models used for monthly usage forecasts by customer class. The role supports revenue accounting and the five-year long-range plan, with responsibilities for monthly estimates, reporting, and procurement-related presentations.

You will prepare documentation and analyses, present updates quarterly, and support ad-hoc requests.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required; 2–4 years in utility, economics, finance or engineering
• Strong analytical skills with Excel and database software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure to deliver accurate results
• Familiarity with electric utility industry and customer usage factors
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and document load forecast models for monthly usage forecasts by customer class
• Perform monthly estimating and reporting for closing the books and forecast performance reports
• Prepare presentations for load forecast updates and procurement-related reporting
• Support ad-hoc analyses and requests
