Job summary

Ovintiv is seeking an Intern to support the Land Administration team while gaining practical experience in managing land data, mineral and royalty ownership, and contractual support.

As an intern you will spend the summer working closely with an experienced mentor and be assigned a project and various other responsibilities intended to provide you with learning opportunities while delivering meaningful contributions to Ovintiv.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Full-time student through December 2027.
• Available May 17 – August 6, 2027.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Internship hourly range: $22.81–$31.59 USD.

Responsibilities

• Maintain land, ownership, and contractual information.
• Support lease and contract administration, mineral and royalty ownership analysis, compliance, data integrity, and resolution of ownership issues.
• Collaborate with Land, Legal, Accounting, Operations teams on related tasks.
