Job summary

L.F. Driscoll is seeking an Energy Marshal to support a mission-critical project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role focuses on energy isolation procedures, auditing practices, and guiding teams on energy isolation standards in a data center environment.

The Energy Marshal will verify the commissioning plan, review quality reports, oversee pre-energization inspections, and manage the LOTO program, collaborating with engineers and non-engineers alike.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy isolation, safety, or a related field.
• NFPA 70E Certification.
• Experience with DC construction and commissioning standards and practices.
• Ability to understand and ensure the safe installation of electrical equipment across various voltages.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety during energization and isolation activities and manage energy isolation procedures.
• Lead commissioning activities from pre-energization through turnover and ensure quality reports are reviewed.
• Maintain and audit LOTO program on site and manage electrical room access.
