Metis Search is seeking a Junior Investment Associate to join its Houston-based team focused on energy, infrastructure and renewables. You will engage across the full investment lifecycle, from screening and analysis to execution and portfolio support.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2 years of full-time investment banking experience in infrastructure/energy sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage workstreams independently and under time pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full investment process from screening to evaluation and decisions.
• Conduct sector and market analyses to identify trends and opportunities.
• Build and review financial models, valuations, and scenario analyses.
• Prepare investment committee memoranda and fundraising materials.
• Collaborate with management teams, lenders, and external stakeholders.
• Own analytical workstreams and support senior investment professionals.
• Assist with portfolio company and asset-level analysis post-close.
