Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG) seeks an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager across engineering, estimating, controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases. This role involves coordinating across teams, maintaining schedules, and contributing to safety and quality efforts.

The position emphasizes collaboration on multiple projects, with potential for acting as PM when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, construction management, or engineering.
• Proactive self-starter capable of independent work and teamwork.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills for project challenges.
• Knowledge of EPC processes and construction methods is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution.
• Assist PM in creating and updating the project schedule with cross-functional input.
• Support safety planning, incident reporting, and investigations.
• Prepare monthly project review reports and assist in financial reviews and closeouts.
• Assist in RFI submittals and procurement of PO and subcontract packages.
