Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager I to support the Project Manager across engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities on development and execution phases.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, preparation of schedules, cost reviews, and participation in safety planning, with potential rotations across support groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field; can substitute work experience for education.
• 2+ years of construction project experience including planning, management, scheduling, cost control and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution.
• Assists PM in developing initial project schedule with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Works with procurement to develop subcontractor and vendor scopes and schedules.
• Collaborates with Safety personnel on project safety plans and incident reporting.
• Prepares monthly project reviews and supports financial closeouts.
• Assists with RFI submittals and document management.
• Provides feedback to improve deliverables and procurement/contract processes.
• Supports project close-out, warranty administration, and lessons learned.
• May act as PM when qualified and requested by PM/Operations Director.
