Job summary

Energy Transfer is offering a 12-week Engineering Intern summer program in Midland, TX. The internship provides hands-on experience with the company’s energy portfolio, focusing on air quality and regulatory compliance for natural gas pipelines and facilities.

Interns will review federal/state regulations, assist with compliance assessments, and collaborate with operations, engineering and environmental teams, including field visits in West Texas.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred) and at least sophomore level completed.
• Self-motivated with involvement beyond coursework.
• Above-average GPA required.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with assets in Energy Transfer's portfolio and gain experience in air quality and regulatory compliance.
• Support review of federal, state, and local environmental laws affecting pipelines and facilities.
• Interact with operations, engineering and environmental staff; participate in field visits in West Texas.
