Job summary

Energy Engineer II opportunity in Atlanta, GA focused on reducing energy consumption and improving building performance. You will lead energy assessments, develop EPCs, and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative energy solutions for a range of buildings.

The role requires a 5+ year background in energy engineering and a Bachelors in Mechanical or Energy Engineering, with a CEM/CEA credential preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering with 5+ years of experience in energy engineering and building performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, energy codes, ASHRAE standards, and utility/incentive programs.
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) credential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead energy audits, benchmarking studies, and feasibility assessments to identify energy-saving opportunities and support EPC development.
  • Develop energy conservation measures for K-12 and commercial building projects in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
  • Navigate incentive programs and regulatory requirements to maximize project value.
