Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Energy Engineer to develop energy, water, and GHG strategies for commercial real estate clients in Seattle. You will lead energy savings initiatives, perform energy audits, and produce technical reports for client engagements.

The role requires strong data analysis, communication, and project management skills, with travel up to 12 days per month. Compensation ranges from $110,500 to $130,000, with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field and 5–8 years related experience.
  • Experience developing decarbonization strategies in CRE.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 12 days per month.
  • Strong project management and data analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop energy saving strategies and identify energy efficiency measures for existing buildings.
  • Prepare cost estimates for recommended measures.
  • Perform ASHRAE Level I & II Energy Audits in existing buildings.
  • Support retro-commissioning activities for existing buildings.
  • Provide client consultations on HVAC, energy modeling, and sustainable design.
  • Review drawings and support incentives for utility programs.
  • Produce technical and non-technical reports for compliance and review.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support business development for ESG.
