Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Energy Engineer to join our growing team in San Diego. You will develop energy, water, and greenhouse gas strategies for commercial real estate clients, presenting high-quality technical reports and recommendations.

Ideal candidates bring strong data analysis, project management, and communication skills, with experience in energy modeling, ASHRAE audits, and sustainability initiatives across multiple cities in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience developing decarbonization strategies including energy efficiency and renewables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of energy saving strategies for existing buildings using calculations of energy/cost savings and ROI.
• Perform energy audits (ASHRAE Level I & II) on existing buildings.
• Support retro-commissioning and provide client consultations on energy systems and sustainable design.
