Job summary
Energy Sciences is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to advance energy efficiency for commercial and industrial clients. The role is home-based with travel to the Greater Philadelphia area, requiring a personal vehicle and up to 25% travel.
You will perform energy and economic analyses, review assessments, and collaborate with customers to develop projects, reports, and presentations. Strong technical communication and team collaboration are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
- Five years of energy assessments and commissioning/retro-commissioning experience preferred.
- Certifications: CEM, CEA, CMVP, EBCP, PE preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify and quantify energy efficiency opportunities.
- Perform energy and economic analyses.
- Review energy assessments, opportunities, and calculations.
- Collaborate with customers and develop projects.
- Prepare reports and deliver presentations.
- Conduct site surveys and facilities assessments.
- Collaborate with technical team members to teach and learn energy engineering fundamentals.
- Support customers with utility energy efficiency programs.
