Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking an on-site Energy Marshal in Milwaukee to serve as the electrical energy management authority on our complex projects.

You will oversee energized systems, safety procedures, and energization planning, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements. This role partners with Safety, Commissioning, Operations, and Trade Partners to drive LOTO, risk mitigation, and robust energy safety programs throughout construction and commissioning lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience with electrical systems on large-scale construction.
• Licensed electrician or equivalent senior role.
• Experience with mission-critical facilities and data centers.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA NFPA 70E and arc flash safety.
• Experience coordinating among multiple stakeholders in fast-paced construction environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead energy management activities for the project.
• Review and approve energy permits, MOPs, and SBS switching procedures.
• Coordinate energization activities with owners, utility providers, commissioning teams, operations personnel, electrical contractors, and trade partners.
• Ensure LOTO procedures are developed, implemented, audited, and maintained.
• Verify designated competent personnel for high-risk energized work."
• Maintain and validate current single-line diagrams and system documentation.
• Conduct energy safety audits and report deficiencies to leadership.
• Mentor project personnel on energy safety and electrical risk management.
