Job summary

Adams Electric Company is seeking an experienced Energy Marshal / LOTO Superintendent to lead hazardous energy control for mission-critical data center projects in the Carolinas. You will serve as the on-site authority for LOTO, isolation procedures, and safe energization across construction, commissioning, and energization phases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, commissioning, or mission-critical environments.
• 3+ years serving as an Electrical Superintendent, LOTO Coordinator, Energy Marshal, or equivalent leadership role.
• Proven experience supporting large-scale data center, industrial, utility, or mission-critical projects.
• Extensive knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures and hazardous energy control programs.
• Strong understanding of medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems.
• Experience coordinating energization and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Energy Isolation & LOTO Management: serve as on-site authority for LOTO and energy isolation procedures.
• Coordinate energization activities with commissioning teams and project leadership.
• Develop detailed switching procedures for medium- and low-voltage systems.
• Lead field safety audits, toolbox talks, and LOTO training sessions.
• Identify hazards and ensure proper PPE; mentor site teams on NFPA 70E compliance.
