Job summary

The RISE Group, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to facilitate our weatherization sales process.

This full-time, in-office role is based in Cranston, RI, and focuses on converting Home Energy Assessments into weatherization contracts while following up on barriers to move projects forward. Requirements include 2+ years of consultative sales, strong communication skills, and a passion for energy efficiency; proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected.

Qualifications

• At least two years of consultative sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts verbally and in writing.
• A commitment to and enthusiasm for energy efficiency.
• The ability to work with others on the team to achieve common objectives.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus relevant post-high-school studies.
• Other combinations of education, training and experience will be evaluated on an individual basis.

Responsibilities

• Call homeowners to secure approval of their proposed weatherization work and coordinate rebates/financing.
• Use proprietary software to prepare revised contracts when necessary.
• Fast follow-up with homeowners to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with residential Energy Specialist teams to better assist homeowners.
