Job summary

RISE Group Inc. is seeking a Residential Energy Specialist to perform scheduled home energy assessments for utilities and program sponsors. You will identify energy-saving measures, present work plans to homeowners, and coordinate rebates and financing options.

Qualifications

• At least two years of residential construction or energy-efficiency experience.
• Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Sales or other customer-facing experience.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel daily.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and access attics/basements.
• Able to pass criminal background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential energy audits evaluating insulation, appliances, HVAC, lighting and moisture/air quality.
• Perform in-home energy tests and install energy-saving measures.
• Use proprietary software to prepare on-site assessment reports.
• Explain measures, benefits and costs to homeowners.
• Secure homeowner approval and coordinate rebates and financing options.
• Follow up to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Pursue BPI Building Analyst certification within six months of hire with company support.
