Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conducts home energy assessments for single and multi-family units to determine allowable energy related repairs and improvements.
• Interviews applicants to gather information on energy usage, health and safety, and heating system issues.
• Performs testing protocols including pre-combustion safety testing to ensure safe operation and CO levels.
• Prepares detailed house assessments/reports outlining recommended energy efficiency measures and safety concerns.
• Develops cost estimates by identifying materials and labor using the contractor's price list.
• Enters data into NEAT or MHEA and assists with LIHEAP priority lists and work orders.
