Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Products & Services Specialist to support multiple Energy Efficiency programs and offers within the Direct Offers team. You will coordinate day-to-day operations, track performance metrics, and help ensure an accurate, seamless customer experience from offer design through fulfillment.

This hybrid role requires strong Excel skills and collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors, driving standardization and continuous improvement across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Business or other related degree.
• In lieu of required degree, High School/GED and minimum Five (5) years relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Business Administration or other related degree.
• In addition to required degree, minimum two (2) years relevant work experience. In lieu of required degree, High School/GED and minimum seven (7) years relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate vendor invoices, purchase orders, and requisitions; coordinate issue resolution and maintain required documentation.
• Track and report key program metrics and maintain standard dashboards and files.
• Support monthly close activities, including preparing draft accruals and validating financial data for accuracy.
• Provide day-to-day operational support across multiple EE direct-offer programs; intake requests, prioritize work, and coordinate next steps with internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Maintain program documentation, process maps, inventories, and standard operating procedures; drive consistency across program manuals and tools.
• Identify trends, defects, and process gaps; synthesize findings into actionable recommendations and track resolution through completion.
• Support compliance needs by following established requirements and escalating risks or exceptions as needed.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to support campaign execution, tracking, and performance reporting for new and existing offers.
