Job summary

Peninsula Light Company in Gig Harbor, WA, is seeking an Energy Services Specialist to support energy efficiency and conservation programs. You will research opportunities, assist with project planning, and help prepare financial analyses and program reporting.

This role emphasizes collaboration with members, contractors, and internal staff to deliver energy services and participate in new program development and community outreach.

Qualifications

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in related energy services roles.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in energy management, economics, business, engineering, or related field.
Excellent communication and project management skills are required.
Must be highly proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Assist with researching and identifying energy services program opportunities, products, grants, and projects.
Support planning, implementation, and monitoring of energy efficiency projects and programs.
Prepare financial analyses, including pricing options and budget estimates, for new and existing services.
Interpret federal and state program requirements and maintain reporting systems.
