Job summary

MD Energy Advisors seeks a highly organized Project Coordinator to support residential energy efficiency programs in Newark, NJ. You will work closely with the program manager, subcontractors, and clients to ensure tasks are completed on time and documentation is accurate.

The role is primarily remote with travel to meetings and events; a valid driver’s license is required. You will help maintain forecasts, dashboards, and records while delivering exceptional customer experiences for utility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Based in New Jersey.
• 1+ year of professional work experience, preferably in energy efficiency or utility programs.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Able to travel (10%) and participate in occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Support the operations of a residential energy efficiency program with financial incentives.
• Track, monitor, and report project status and KPIs for internal and client reporting.
• Maintain program forecasts, dashboards, and performance data for visibility and progress toward goals.
• Provide day-to-day support to field staff and subcontractors, coordinating assignments and answering questions.
• Maintain proactive communication with subcontractors, customers, and program teams; clarify rules and resolve barriers.
• Support onboarding and ongoing engagement of subcontractors and strengthen industry relationships.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and quality control.
• Maintain organized program documentation ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Perform other duties to support successful program operations.
