Job summary

PSEG is seeking a program manager to oversee energy efficiency projects in Newark, NJ. You will manage scope, schedule and budget in compliance with the BPU order and PSEG procedures, ensuring projects meet performance and cost targets.

You will interface with PSEG colleagues, vendors and customers, develop implementation processes, monitor vendor performance and provide timely management reporting. A BS degree with 5+ years in energy efficiency or related fields is required, with some travel

• BS degree or 9 years of related experience in energy efficiency programs.
• Experience with milestone-based construction payments and forecasting spend.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency measures and cost.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management oversight over scope, schedule and budget of energy efficiency projects in compliance with the BPU Order and PSEG procedures. Ensure projects meet all program requirements, including project scope and cost effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain the processes for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs in accordance with requirements for BPU approved programs.
• Interface with PSEG associates, vendors, customers and outside consultants to assure the Program rules and requirements are maintained, the projects are cost effective and the information needed for management and regulatory reporting is accurate and timely.
• Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC as required; Apply knowledge in energy savings measures and techniques to program and project oversight
• Manage customer relationships to provide program services with a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and direct the activities of vendors and contractors. Review vendor deliverables. Monitor vendor performance, and review/process vendor invoices.
• Ensure vendor and employee compliance with safety protocols and practices.
