Job summary

PEG, LLC is seeking motivated individuals to learn Energy Sustainability and Building Energy Performance for new residential construction. You will become a certified HERS Rater and perform Home Energy Audits in accordance with RESNET guidelines, including visual inspections and data collection.

You will travel within a 100-mile radius around Allentown, PA, perform audits, document findings, and maintain equipment per policy. Training is provided, and a full benefits package is offered upon hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• HERS Rater, Energy Star, Green Building, ACCA 310 HVAC Grading, IECC, HVAC EPA, BPI and LEED certifications are a plus.
• 2 years of work experience in HVAC, home remodeling, or construction is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform Home Energy Audits according to RESNET/Energy Star guidelines.
• Conduct data collection and inspections of energy efficient features.
• Test system performance using infiltration, blower door, ventilation, and duct leakage tests.
• Prepare electronic written reports of audit findings.
• Travel daily within assigned geographic area to job sites.
