HEPCO, Inc. in Newark, NJ seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to develop and manage a commercial and industrial energy-efficiency pipeline across South Jersey.

The role requires strong business development skills, knowledge of program criteria, and the ability to drive opportunities from outreach to closing. You will own the process end-to-end, work with program teams, and coordinate with customers, municipalities, and vendors.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with at least five years in business development and energy-efficiency programs.
• Nine years of directly related experience may substitute for a degree.
• Commercial and industrial energy-efficiency experience is required.
• Experience managing vendor performance and leading cross-functional teams.
• Must own a reliable vehicle and hold a valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage a C&I energy-efficiency pipeline across the assigned territory.
• Prospect, qualify, and close C&I energy-efficiency projects.
• Own opportunities from initial contact through closing and ongoing relationship management.
• Coordinate multi-stage sales processes using Salesforce and eTrac.
• Build relationships with commercial customers, municipalities, and trade partners.
• Lead cross-functional teams and ensure program delivery aligns with regulatory requirements.
• Provide status reports to customers and management.
