Job summary

Public Service Electric & Gas Co. (PSEG) in Newark, NJ is seeking an Energy Efficiency Specialist to oversee commercial and industrial energy efficiency projects, including scope, schedule, and budget, in compliance with the BPU order and PSEG procedures.

You will develop processes to implement programs, coordinate with vendors and customers, perform QA/QC, analyze project data for management reports, and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree plus 5 years of experience in energy efficiency programs, construction, or related fields; or 9 years without a degree.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel within PSEG territory to meet with customers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide program management oversight of energy efficiency projects per BPU order and PSEG procedures.
• Develop and maintain processes for implementing energy efficiency projects and programs.
• Interface with associates, vendors, customers, and consultants to ensure cost effectiveness and timely reporting.
• Perform QA/QC and apply energy savings knowledge to program oversight.
• Manage customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction and monitor vendor performance.
