Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Project and Program Manager for a 12-month contract in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on administering demand response programs, ensuring compliance with CPUC requirements, and delivering a strong customer experience.

You will oversee program operations, validate payments, and coordinate across IT, marketing, accounting, and policy teams. A rotating on-call schedule is included May–October, with remote Fridays and onsite Monday–Thursday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience (Level II).
• Experience coordinating across multiple departments with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong written communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Demand Response Programs ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day program operations and cross-functional coordination.
• Validate participant and vendor payments and ensure spends stay within budget.
• Coordinate with IT, Supply Management, Marketing, Accounting, and Policy teams.
• Support regulatory filings and program design activities.
• Provide guidance to program support staff and promote a positive customer experience for participants.
