Job summary

Cadmus is seeking an analytical professional to apply advanced analytics to generate data-driven insights for utility and government clients. You will support DSM topics, including demand response, decarbonization, and energy efficiency, while coordinating across teams and delivering high-quality deliverables.

The role requires strong programming, econometrics, and communication skills, with experience in energy sector consulting.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative field with 6-8 years of experience.
• OR BA/BS in related field with 8-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with data transformation and statistical software programming in R, Python, or Stata.
• Experience deploying interactive web apps and data visualizations with R-Shiny or similar platforms (Flask, DASH, Power BI or Streamlit).
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience with inferential statistics, sampling, research design, statistical analysis and regression analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills; willingness to grow professionally.
• Applied research design experience in professional settings (e.g., consulting).

Responsibilities

• Lead research design, data collection, data analysis, modeling tool development, and reporting tasks for client engagements.
• Apply statistical and econometric methods; synthesize results to assess program and policy impacts.
• Communicate methods, findings, data sources, and results in reports, presentations, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Manage consulting projects with collaboration across teams and clients.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior staff.
• Develop and nurture client relationships through proactive, clear communication.
• Identify and develop business opportunities; support or lead proposal development.
