Qualifications

• MA/MS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related quantitative field with 6-8 years of relevant experience (or BA/BS with 8-10 years).
• Experience transforming data and programming in R, Python, or Stata.
• Experience deploying interactive web apps and data visualizations using R-Shiny or Flask/DASH/Power BI/Streamlit.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Experience with inferential statistics, sampling, research design, regression analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to grow professionally and take on challenging assignments.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel).
• Energy sector/utility industry familiarity; applied research design in consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead research design, data collection, analysis, modeling tool development, and reporting for client engagements.
• Apply statistical/econometric methods to assess program and policy impacts and derive recommendations.
• Communicate methods and results clearly in reports, presentations, dashboards, and visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Manage consulting projects and collaborate with clients and project teams to meet goals and budgets.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical support.
• Build client relationships through proactive communication on project status, findings, and concerns.
• Identify opportunities for new work by supporting or leading proposal development.
