Job summary

Cadmus is seeking an analytical professional to apply advanced analytics to energy and DSM topics, working with clients and internal teams to deliver data-driven insights and strategic guidance. You will lead research design, data collection, and modeling tasks from start to finish, communicating findings through reports and visualizations.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong programming skills in R/Python/Stata, and a track record in applied research or consulting

Qualifications

• Quantitative degree (MA/MS or BA/BS with 5–7 years) in economics, statistics, math or data science.
• Experience transforming data and programming in R, Python or Stata.
• Experience deploying interactive web apps and data visualizations (R-Shiny, Power BI, Flask, DASH, Streamlit).
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Experience with inferential stats, sampling, research design and regression analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.
• Desire to grow professionally and take on challenging work.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with energy sector/utility industry.
• Applied research design in consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead research design, data collection, analysis, modeling tool development, and reporting tasks for client engagements.
• Apply statistical and econometric methods; synthesize results to assess program and policy impacts.
• Communicate methods and results in reports, presentations, dashboards, and data visualizations for diverse audiences.
• Support management of consulting tasks, including client collaboration, budgeting, invoicing, planning, and resource management.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to junior staff.
• Nurture client relationships with proactive, clear communication on project activities and findings.
• Identify and develop business opportunities to expand work with existing clients and proposals.
