Job summary

S&P Global is seeking an Associate Director within the Enterprise Data Organization to help connect CERA data strategies with business execution across Upstream, Power & Gas. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate strategy into actionable goals and measurable targets, ensuring timely data delivery and quality.

The role focuses on partnering with cross-functional teams, guiding data initiatives, and communicating progress and value to leadership, with a strong emphasis on data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data management, data harmonization, business development, or a related field within the energy industry.
• Experience bridging business needs and data management execution across cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational management and business case development skills, with the ability to work across business teams and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas, recommendations, and progress updates to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director of Data Partnership – Upstream, Power & Gas to develop and implement a data strategy for S&P Global CERA aligned with broader S&P Global and Enterprise Data Organization strategies.
• Collaborate with Client, Product, Sales, Technology, Data, and other stakeholders to define and execute a data strategy that meets and exceeds client expectations.
• Consult on client business problems, identify data needs, present data-driven solutions, and create practical development roadmaps for stakeholders at all levels of the business.
• Translate S&P Global CERA strategy into actionable goals and measurable targets for the Enterprise Data Organization while clearly articulating the value and business rationale.
• Work closely with Data Operations, Data Stewardship, Quality & Customer, and other EDO teams to define data quality, timeliness, comprehensiveness, policies, and procedures.
• Serve as a conduit between S&P Global Energy CERA and the EDO, promoting active communication across the organization on opportunities, progress, and the health of EDO-sponsored projects.
