Job summary

S&P Global in the United States is seeking an Associate Director to lead data partnership initiatives across Upstream, Power & Gas. You will align CERA data strategy with enterprise goals, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive value through standardized data practices.

You'll bridge business needs with data execution, manage cross-functional teams, and promote data quality and timely delivery while advancing S&P Global's Essential Intelligence agenda.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data management, data harmonization, business development, or a related field within the energy industry.
• Experience bridging business needs and data management execution across cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational management and business case development skills, with the ability to work across business teams and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas, recommendations, and progress updates to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop and implement a data strategy aligned with enterprise goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute a data strategy that meets client expectations.
• Consult on business problems, identify data needs, and create practical roadmaps for stakeholders.
• Translate strategy into actionable goals and measurable targets for the organization.
• Work with data operations and stewardship teams to define data quality and policies.
• Serve as a conduit between energy CERA and the enterprise data organization, promoting communication.
