Job summary

Gerdau Ameristeel Corp. is seeking an Energy Data and Reporting Analyst to collect, analyze, and present energy data for NA operations.

You will support decision-making, efficiency initiatives, and compliance by tracking energy usage, costs, and performance. Responsibilities include data collection from SAP, utilities, dashboards in Power BI, and collaboration with the Energy Team and other departments to deliver actionable insights and robust reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Energy Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Data Science, Analytics, or related).
• Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, data modeling, statistics, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Databricks).
• Ability to interpret large datasets, identify trends, and translate insights into actions.

Responsibilities

• Collect energy data from SAP, utility invoices, and internal systems; maintain databases and dashboards.
• Perform statistical and predictive modeling to identify energy trends and opportunities.
• Create reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders using Power BI, Databricks, and other tools.
• Collaborate with Energy Team, IT, accounting, and finance to integrate data into reporting systems.
