The role requires 5–7 years in energy procurement, a four-year degree, strong market analysis, negotiation, and cross‑functional collaboration with plant management to optimize cost, risk, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five to seven years of energy procurement experience.
• Four year degree or equivalent additional work experience.
• Knowledge of energy markets, supply sources and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Establish competitive energy supply arrangements (electricity, gas, industrial gases, fuels) for designated US facilities.
• Monitor energy markets, forecast trends, and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships and bids; negotiate major contracts.
• Collaborate with plant management to implement energy procurement strategies and risk controls.
• Represent the company in regulatory, professional, and political forums under guidance.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and ensure compliance with risk management policies.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives and cross-border considerations where applicable.
• Act as a resource for energy forecasts and commercial aspects of supply.
